Sleepy sleepy

I love watching Koehn sleep. He is calm, I feel calm and wish naps would sometimes last longer than a fast hour. He is so...juicy juicy!

I am giving this a try again...

Well, I thought since my little Koehn was born 14 1/2 months ago, I should start writing about him, my life, things I thinking and doing. So from time to time I will write when I am inspired or just because Koe did something I had to share.

He is growing up so fast!!!! Marcus and I are so thankful that we have a little addition to our family. He is so much fun and so much energy and I love every moment of it. Currently Koe really likes to give out baby kisses and hugs...so cute! I like being the receiver of kisses. He likes to push anything that comes in his way and pick things up that look interesting. He loves my cell phone, phone charger, wires and cords to the computers, printer and fan. He holds on to one end and attempts to pull the cord out of the outlet and sometimes he will pull so hard that he falls back and wins with the cord in hand. I am not a big fan of this so I think I will need to put a stop to it, but it is fun to watch his determination.

Koe enjoys looking at the moon! Since the crescent moon was visible from his large window I had to show him that the moon was back! For some reason we couldn't see if for a few weeks...does that have to do with earth rotating? Anyway, tonight I had to show him the moon at least 10 times with all the lights off in the room so he could take a good glimpse at it and be in awe of God's creation. He said oooooo and awwww and some other words that only mom could translate as MOON MOM. I have already signed him up for space camp. Not really, but maybe in 10 years.

Good night MOON!

2 days left

Since I am on maternity leave, I have been resting, taking naps, reading as much as possible about what is to come in the next few days. Mom is driving in on July 2nd, same day as my scheduled C-section. She will be here to help out Marcus and I and I am so thankful. She is an expert at baby stuff.

Marcus and I had a great weekend, watched a sunset at our favorite destination, had an iced latte (decaf of course) and spent time talking about what we think life is going to be link once our little boy is here. We have no idea, but are just so excited to see what we created.

Bags are almost all packed, just deciding how I should over pack because that is what I am good at...bringing way too much stuff with me everywhere I go. I have a few outfits picked out for the day we bring baby Meazzo home.

So with much anticipation, I say bye for now! I will share our baby's name with the world, once he is born.

More to come....

Here she is, getting there. Motherhood awaits.
